    Exceptional

The room and the house were very clean, very well decorated, the bed was very nice and comfortable, and we had everything we needed to feel like at home. The location is perfect, 5 minutes to Piazza San Marco, and 2 minutes to Vaporetto Station. It was also very quite. We really appreciated the hot tea with candies at the raining day of our arrival upon our request. We have also been provided with the rubber boots by the owners of the hotel, since the water went up very significantly. We noticed from the previous comments that the breakfast was very simple. However, it was very good, and very sufficient (meat, salami, boiled eggs, toats, butter, cheese, croissants, very delicious pies, jams, and nutella) We will recommend Zaguri B&B to our friends and, certainly, we will stay there for our next trip to Venice.

    Fabulous

The staff were very helpful, when available; and the location was very good, close to both the Vaporetto stop (Santa Maria Giglio) and San Marco Square.

The breakfast option were very limiting indeed; only some packaged savouries and bread-like things, no yougurt or cut fruit and very little other options. Also, there was no one on the "desk" after 12 Noon, and that can make logistics a bit difficult at times.

    Fabulous

We received an email with a map and extremely accurate directions to the b&b from the airport. It was very helpful and appreciated. Excellent service!

I really liked everything about Zaguri B+B. The staff was nice and friendly. I enjoyed the breakfast which included fresh fruit and eggs. I personally liked the location, because it was away from the overcrowed area around St. Marks Square. It was not very far from the Accadamia Bridge, which made it convenient to the other side of the Grand Canal. The room overlooked a canal and had a picturesque view. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was very modern and up to date. I also enjoyed staying in a building that was once an old palazzo. If I return to Venice in the future, I would like to stay here again. The staff even brought breakfast to the room the night before an early departure.

    Very good

Very near San Marco square. Mario, the owner, welcomed us and was very friendly.

    Fabulous

The location was perfect for us. It was nice to be able to stop off at the hotel to freshen up or drop off purchases since it was so central. The welcome drink and information was very much appreciated.

Our room wasn't the most quiet. We could hear noises from the adjoining buildings early in the morning. The breakfast buffet was substantial but could benefit from things like a toaster (so you can toast your bread fresh) and maybe hot eggs (only eggs were hard boiled).

    Superb

The location was excellent, just a few blocks from a vaporetto (water bus) stop, and it was just far enough from the hustle and bustle of Piazza San Marco to have a quiet stay, yet only a 5 minute walk to the piazza if you miss the action! There were many great (and reasonably priced) ristorantes in the neighborhood, including many gelato options, along with pizza by the slice and sandwiches you could buy right from a window on one of the many narrow streets. Our room was very quiet and the hosts served a nice continental breakfast everyday including breads, cheese, soft boiled eggs, juice, cappucino and real Italian hot chocolate -- the thick kind, you can eat with a spoon!

The refrigerator in our room was not working during our stay, but we didn't miss it.

    Superb

It is very cozy family run place. The owners are a very nice elderly couple. They just handle you the keys to everywhere and you never see them again :) A younger lady is there until noon if you need to ask questions, and that is it. However that does not mean they don't pay attention, they just booked us sea taxis, cleaned the room perfectly, made sure our child is comfortable. So overall, it is a different, but a very nice stay if you are not a luxury addict.

The breakfest was way too weak.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The location is very convenient for seeing the main sights in Venice. Everything was wonderfully clean and we very much appreciated the heat as it was extremely cold outside! In a city as expensive as Venice, it was nice to find a place that was affordable and provided very good accommodations.

    Fabulous

Location is the main selling point of the Zaguri B&B, it couldn't be better! The owners are extremely kind and helpful, and our room was very simply furnished but spotlessly clean. Very useful to have a full-sized fridge, and really lovely to be offered a prosecco and nibbles on arrival to celebrate the new year.

The cost of the B&B over the New Year's holiday was at least twice what you would expect to pay for a simple room anywhere else in the world - but that's Venice for you all over! Also, if you like to go out till late and sleep in, you might find you are woken (staying in Room 3 that is) because the ladies setting up breakfast chat and play music.

A delightful surprise with wonderful location only 300 meters from Plaza Saint Marco. Very friendly staff. Pretty good breakfast by poor Venice standards, even some fresh bread rolls and pastry! Room with view over canal not far from the Grand Canal.

Steps to bathroom a little dangerous at night. We would have liked a bath but for the price this was acceptable. The B&B is a little closed in from the street and feels a little claustrophobic, but incredible value for money.

    Fabulous

the staff were nice, friendly and pleasant. they help us in every way they can. they even prepared us a breakfast beforehand when we informed them that we will be checking out early.

nothing. except that at night time, the way to the door is too dark, maybe it would be helpful is they can provide some outdoor lighting to help their guests. but overall, we had a pleasant stay in the hotel

    Exceptional

excellent breakfast, room and service. Great location. Gave us welcome drink and snacks and maps of venice, great introduction on workings of room and had numerous travel books for borrowing.

No problems. Somewhat hard to find but not because of hotel, just because Venice is confusing. Hotel sends you an email with specific directions on how to find them though.
